TOUCH OF ART
Vernissage of the exhibition: 7th of November 2019 at 17.00 Faculty of Arts Gallery, Lublin, ul. Zana 11 Blind and visually impaired people have limited access to art on a daily basis. Some museums are beginning to adapt their exhibitions to this group of recipients, and these activities will certainly develop in the future. Institute of Fine Arts WA UMCS as part of scientific research and artistic activity implements the project Touch of art, addressed to people with sight impairment. The exhibition is part of this project, which will present paintings, objects and installations that will be known by touch. The Institute of Fine Arts is planning further activities in the field of art, aimed at blind and visually impaired people, the effects of which will be presented in future exhibitions, workshops and publications summarizing the next stages of the project.
